Did you know you can use some mini headphones and a 3.5mm to 2.5mm jack converter to connect to the remote control port of a Canon EOS 300D ?
Very usefull when doing long bulb mode exposure if you don't have the Canon remote. Much less camera shake.
Got my mirror box and CCD sensor cleaning kit today... Two nylons brushes with an anti-static handle.
These brushes don't seem to have anything too special.. Looks a lot like artist brushes except that, according to the manufacturer, they don't have that special coating most artist brushes have... Coating that can ruin and/or mess up your delicate sensor (just reading the docs)
So I cleaned up my 300D body with them and some dry air can.. It looks much better now.. There is still some little dust but there are really small and the picture now looks very acceptable when focused to infinity and wide open.

After I managed to lost my Canon charger at a wedding and had to almost sell a kidney because I wanted to get back an original Canon one and not some cheap copy, now ladies and gentlemen, dust managed to sneak *inside* my 300D and are having a party on the sensor, no less :-(
It only show up when shooting landscape but I tend to like landscape lately.
So I ordered a cleaning kit for CCD and can't wait to ruin everything so I will have to sell the other kidney to get the body repaired.
